Let Your Emotions Tell the Story: A Spoken Word Masterclass with Cameron L. Mitchell
Join acclaimed spoken word artist Cameron L. Mitchell for a dynamic, hands-on exploration of storytelling through poetry, rhythm, and performance. Designed for artists of all experience levels, this masterclass invites participants to tap into personal emotion, sharpen their voice, and transform lived experience into compelling spoken word.
Cameron L. Mitchell is a spoken word artist, author, playwright, actor, and was named Poet Laureate of Murfreesboro in 2022. His powerful creative work, Regicide: To Kill a King, was selected for Nashville Rep’s Ingram New Works Project during the 2024–2025 season. Blending spoken word, rap, poetry, and music, the piece was presented in a public reading and showcased his distinctive, genre-crossing voice.
