Nashville repertory Theatre is proud to provide our community with innovative, quality THEATRICAL opportunities and education programs that challenge and inspire.

Classroom InDepth

Classroom InDepth allows students to connect with Nashville Rep's theatre artists in a way that enriches the work you're doing in the classroom. Experiencing theatre paired with interaction with a member of our creative team will strengthen your students' critical thinking skills, creativity, and ability to integrate many ideas and subjects at once.

1. Submit a request! Tell us what show you want to see, what class you're teaching, and how many students you want to bring.

2. See the show! Our team will coordinate your request with TPAC's box office to provide access to purchase special $15 Classroom InDepth tickets (and a free one for you!), good for admission to any regularly scheduled performance.

3. Connect with an artist! We will coordinate your request with the show’s creative team to provide a theatre artist who will visit your classroom according to your choice: A pre-show artist who will prepare your students for what they will be seeing and for visiting the theatre, or a post-show artist who will engage the students in responding to the show and answer questions.

Sound like a plan? Submit your request here!

Theatre Workshops

We are currently creating a wonderful workshop series for our 2018/2019 season! For more information on these workshops, please add your name to our workshop mailing list.

Meet And Greet Saturdays

Talk Back Fridays!

Audience members are encouraged to remain in the lobby post-performance, discuss the play and get to know our outstanding local professional actors.

Meet and Greets immediately follow all Saturday evening main stage performances in the Johnson Theater lobby at TPAC.

The content of some plays provokes questions, thoughts, and intense feelings. To provide audience members opportunities to talk about the content of especially provocative productions, the director and cast members participate in a structured conversation. Talkbacks immediately follow selected Friday main stage performances in Johnson Theater, TPAC. Please call (615) 244-4878 the week of performance to confirm.

Nashville Rep’s internship program readies the next generation of theatre professionals through mentoring, training and guidance. The objectives include introducing the interns to “real-world” experiences while developing professional skills and career-related objectives through intensive contact with Rep staff and other artistic professionals.
